Sometimes it pays to be a little bit naughty. With a new batch of revolting children on spring break, Matilda grossed seven figures for the second consecutive week, taking in $1,112,189. Another show highlighting a bevy of rebellious maggots, School of Rock, celebrated a gangbusters week by grossing $1,336,781. Meanwhile, a handful of new musicals played shortened weeks of preview performances, with Waitress and Shuffle Along reaching Standing Room Only (the latter having just returned from hiatus) and American Psycho and Tuck Everlasting close behind.
